2012 APEX National Teams - Monday, March 19, 2012

Apex is always striving for excellence & the opportunity to get the players to the next level.  Last year we took a team to AAU Nationals in Orlando,FL & had a blast.  They raised money via car wash/yard sale & other team events to help lower the cost.  Apex feels that getting the girls out there to be seen can help save parents money for college by getting them seen all over the US!  A full or partical ride to college whether a junior or 4 year college helps everyone.

We will need to know who is interested in the National team options by this Thursday (3/22/12).

You do NOT have to commit at this time.  We are just trying to get a head count at this point so we know what directions we need to go.

If you are not playing with APEX at this time, please use the contact us now link and let us know that you are interested.  We will be filling some of the teams with outside players as room permits.

Stars and Spikes Champions! - Monday, March 05, 2012

Congratulations to APEX Delta for their recent championship victory at the Stars and Spikes U16 tournament in Riverside Washington on February 26, 2012.

Delta was one of two teams which were comprised of all U15 players in the U16s 24 team tournament.  What was interesting was those two U15s teams, Delta and Spokane Sky, ended up fighting it out in the Silver Championship.

APEX Delta fought hard and ended up victorious over Sky at the end of the 3 game match.

APEX Awareness Sportsmanship awards Minimize

APEX Volleyball would like to congratulate 2 of the 600+ athletes that attended the U14s and U16s APEX Awareness tournament at the Valley HUB this last weekend.  The atmosphere was electric throughout the entire day and the competition was intense in all of the different brackets.
Throughout the day, APEX officials as well as our day officials staff kept a vigilant eye on the athletes competing on the various courts.  We were looking for the athlete who not only gave 110% on the court but also respected herself, her teammates and coaches and our spectators as evident through her demeanor on and off the court.

As a result two outstanding young ladies were selected as winners of the sportsmanship award for APEX Awareness 2012. Both girls received a New Pink Baden volleyball for their efforts.

U-14 Charlotte Murray - Pursuit VBC

U-16 Tenika Smith - Chewelah Cougars

Congratulations to you both!!!

Hydra Takes Gold Minimize

Congratulations to our U16s Team, Hydra for there fight throughout the day yesterday.  Team Hydra, lead by Coach Kilgore, fought all day to emerge undefeated in the APEX Awareness tournament which took place on Sunday at the Valley HUB.

Throughout the day, they face many great teams and ended up advancing up a division and then winning the Gold division.  It was exciting watching the entire team band together and fight as a solid unified team.

In addition, our parents really stepped up to the plate by verbally supporting them through the ups and downs which make up any sports competition.

Once again, Congratulation... GO HYDRA!!!
